Established in 1952, The Coogee Beach Progress Association aims to safeguard the interests of ratepayers and permanent residents of Coogee, and the adjacent suburbs of North Coogee, Spearwood and Munster.

Currently as a priority, the Coogee Beach Progress Association aims to promote actions that will result in the beauty and attractiveness unfolding at Port Coogee being extended southwards through Coogee Beach to the Integrated Community Facility being constructed at Poore Grove. The Association also aims to promote actions that will improve public safety in the Port Coogee – Coogee Beach – Woodman Point area.
