 About Bibra Lake

On the edge of the lake from which the suburb takes its name, Bibra Lake is in Perth's rapidly growing south-western corridor and is just a 20-minute drive on the Kwinana Freeway to the CDB.

The Jetty - Bibra Lake

Quiet and leafy, Bibra Lake is a stone's throw from Cockburn Central, planned as one of the biggest shopping centres in the southern hemisphere, which will serve an estimated population of 200,000.

Bibra Lake has easy access to either Murdoch Station or Cockburn Station on the new Mandurah rail line each with about a five-minute drive.

Bibra Lake industrial areas are well established and provide many jobs.

Coogee Beach and Fremantle are both just 10 minutes away by car.

Adventure World is at the front of Bibra Lake and is an excellent place to go for all the family.

Cockburn Wetlands Education Centre on Hope Road has regular visits from schools to teach children about bird and other wildlife on and around the lake and explain the importance of the freshwater Beeliar Regional Park.

Next door is the Native Arc rehabilitation centre for injured animals and birds, which are released into the bush.

Bibra Lake has a great sense of community, with its own residents' association that was responsible for establishing a community hall.
