HAPPY TENTH BIRTHDAY, BRAG! BRAG (Beeliar Residents Action Group) was established in 1998 by local residents eager to address concerns affecting them in there suburb. The 'Action' in the name reflected the need to hammer out solutions to those issues back then. Today, BRAG has evolved into one of the most successful and active community groups in the City of Cockburn, we still address issues affecting the community but we also run events, support local groups, and act as 'your voice in the community' by working closely with local government and the Meve estate developer to make sure our needs are met. We changed the "A" to mean 'Advancement' and we are constantly looking ahead to new and better opportunities for Beeliar. BRAG is run by members of the community for the community. New members are always welcome ($10 per year and get involved as much or as little as your lifestyle permits) .
